i went to walmart today. they had the ladies columbia. forgot to snap a pic the huffy with panniers single speed version of the pannier bike, no panniers, but a sweet brown and non nasty tires. and the score for me today, a schwinn low glide...... my semi disabled uncle's bike was stolen...

ok, so heres some updates...... profile sprocket came in SO STOKED!!! my frame came from chuck.... chuckz, you the man, this thing is PERFECT!!!!! so stoked!! like a kid..... a 6'2" 300lb little frickin kid.

The flight cranks are super nice. For me, I'm sure the Sunday saker cranks will be just fine, it's a cruiser, I don't plan on getting too rad on it, just smashin around town. Maybe on the next bike.

i have no doubt the frame will come. he's shipped it, and it shows in a city about 20 miles from me according to the tracking #. im getting anxious, but it'll be here soon.

got the headset and KMC nickel chain in today, nothing special, forgot to take pics, and left em at work. DOH!

Hopefully not too crusty, I asked him for a good clean one haha. It's going to get blasted and pc'd so it won't matter too much, just don't want dents or gouges. I'm sure it'll be good.

wheels came in, seat post clamp came in. pics added to first page..... also peep the shot of my wife's fiat 500 wheels that i did. stock steels powder coated and i made the center caps on the lathe/mill. threaded the lug studs to accept the button head allens..... she loves em. no other fiat...

White frame is good lookin, but boring. Red ano looks great, but fades. I went with all black bits, only think left to get is bars, pedals, valve caps, and a seat. I'll likely make a seat post out of stainless (polished). The black wheels, stem, sprocket, post clamp etc is gunna kind of mute...

i did get them from justridela, but they called them "bombproof" on eBay. I'm stoked on em. i liked the SE landing gear, but didn't wanna fork out the dough for em. trying to keep it real with the budget. the kiniption tires look cool, but i hate how the tread wraps the sidewall. ill probably...

the beauty of a festiva is in the utility. i put crazy amounts of things in my blue one...... my brother (18, 13 years my junior, like a son to me) asked for a festiva for his first car, what kid says those words? i was STOKED.
