I've never been a fan of gum wall tires. When I bought my used SE OM Flyer, they came with gum walls. I immediately replaced them with Maxxis Holy Rollers.

I'm actually going to be painting this bike black in 2 weeks. I have a thing for black. The entire bike will be black except for the silver chain. I've recently come to appreciate white wall tires. I'm on the fence whether or not to go white walls or black. Any thoughts?

What's the difference between the two? Is the Flyer going to cause numbness? I noticed that none of the Brooks saddles have the cut out in the middle like most other manufacturers saddles do.

I just stumbled acrossed this thread. I'm running a 1 piece crank with 44/20 gearing and it's a good cruising gear. I had 44/22 and I like the 44/20 better.
