I've been riding my OM Flyer as it's the only bike that's rideable right now.

It's a fun bike. Easy to jump, curb hop, wheelie, and throw around. Much easier than a 29er. Very nimble!

To think I absolutely hated this bike after I got it. Once I put the Haro 9.5" bars on it, it was like a completely different bike. That allowed me to raise the seat a bit and still be able to sit upright while riding. I also threw on some Oury lock on grips. These are by far the best grips...

This is my daily rider right now until I get my klunker built.

They make it look easy. Makes me want to give it a try, Although I would have to take it to my LBS to get it trued.

I never understood mountain biking here either. We just have mountain bike "trails," where you ride your overpriced mountain bike on. 🤣 I actually don't like mountain bikes. I've been riding my 26" SE OM Flyer on the trails. People hate it. One snobby guy said, "why don't you get a real bike."...

I live in South Florida where it is literally flat. No hills of any kind. A coaster brake will be right at home here.

How much lighter is an identical aluminum rim to the steel rim? Any durability issues with a steel rim?

No, there were no parts descriptions at all. You can tell he spray painted the frame with cheap paint.

What's the difference between steel and aluminum rims?

I actually want to put better rims on my 6 speed Schwinn Deluxe that I'm converting to single speed.

I know SE wheels come with a freewheel. Is it possible to put a coaster brake hub on them?

How durable is the Sturmey 2 speed? Can it take a beating? I pedal hard quite a bit.
