    Wards Hawthorne

What in tarnation? Welded over? Who does that. At any rate I'd lean towards a 1941 built frame here.

    Wards Hawthorne

Pretty sweet looking bomber you've got there! The numbers you posted were stamped aftermarket and could have been any number of things like registering with the local PD in case it got stolen. The manufacturer serial number will be under the bottom bracket. I expect you'll see something like...

    Hawthorne bike ?

Is the bike blue/indigo? If it's original paint in this color, I'd have serious interest in the chainguard.

    Hawthorne bike ?

The two bars are a sign it's an HP Snyder built frame. What's interesting is that it does have the CWC shockmaster springer. CWC and Snyder both supplied frames for Hawthorne. The Snyder springer didn't come out until 1940, so it's not common but not unheard of for them to turn up with the CWC...

    another chicago schwinn find today

Scroll through here. There's several options between 9-11$ a tire.. so you can get a pair for less than 30$ shipped. That's quite reasonable to me at least. http://www.niagaracycle.com/categories/tires-tubes/tires/24

help - schwinn id and value please

Schwinn's Chicago factory closed mid-late 1983. They had a Tennessee factory producing lightweight frames for a couple more years then imported everything after that.

    Couple Old Hawthornes?

Don't know how I missed these; cool bikes. The top is CWC built circa '40-41. The bottom is HP Snyder built '36-37. Both manufacturers supplied frames for W/H.

    63 Corvette

The serial will have a letter in either the first or second place. It could be something like A332405 with a lightly stamped A which looks like a 4. It's post '59 for sure because of the guard, fork, and rack. Not that a couple years makes too much of a difference. It's not like the difference...

    63 Corvette

Maybe a late 1960 build but a '61 model. Starburst badge came on Corvettes and Jaguars in '61-62 but it came on Travelers starting in 1960. Any Corvette is a good Corvette. I've had a handful of them and they're great riders. Enjoy!

    Another 20 showed up tonight

20" ballooners are always cool! My first thought is CWC built. It's hard to distinguish 20ers sometimes because their geometry is so different from their 26" counterparts and there aren't many floating around for reference. A serial number should help though if you're interested in an ID.

    schwinn with.....?

Looks like a 5-speed wheel missing the cassette. I would guess a tandem circa late 60s-early 70s.

    1920's Princeton??

HP Snyder built fastback ballooner, circa 1937-39. Good frame to build off of or ride, but there's too much incorrect and repainted to command big money. I see about 150-175$ here. What's he asking? Princeton was a variant badging of Rollfast bicycles. Search Rollfast of the same era and you'll...

    CWC Roadmaster girls bike

You're right on the money. Considering the parts, 150$ is reasonable to expect. That'd be fair. Unfortunately, the parts are worth more than the bike complete, so these old girls get parted out often. Somebody may buy it if they're putting together an early men's CWC for stuff like the guard...

    CWC Roadmaster girls bike

Very cool! You did great for 10$; the dropstand alone is worth 50 any day of the week. Considering the equipment and serial number, this would be a mid-1936 built bicycle. Produced by Cleveland Welding Co. Not worth a ton, because it's a standard level ladies bike in tired, but straight...

    What?

Good call--M&S. Looks to be an early frame since most M&S bikes had the slightest downtube curve. Maybe 1937ish, but there's very little reference information on the maker.

Can someone ID this Royce Union kids bike?

That is truly and odd duck! I agree with Adam; definitely unique and while it may or may not have much collectors value, I don't think you could go wrong for 100$. It's designed to look like a moped, which became really popular in the late 60s. I grew up with a Royce Union bmx from around 2000...

    Silver King?

Nice find; looks to be 1937 +/-. Missing some stuff and bars/stem are newer but the core is all there and correct. 150$ for what's there seems fair to ask. Maybe more on ebay.

    Flying Ace and springer fork

Very nice! Your springer looks to be the desireable prewar version of the cwc shockmaster with the 'swan' shaped truss arms.

    1938/39 Women's Comet

Nice! It's Westfield built so the serial number can be decoded. But 38-39 is most likely. I can maybe use the reflector for my 38 men's Westfield and I can certainly use the dropstand for the same bike. That light is a great piece even though it's half gone. She's nice overall. Maybe you can...

    Pre-War Womens Columbia

Well worth it; get her! Looks like a very nice deluxe ladies bike, circa '37-39. Also, that torpedo looks like it could be of the rare, desirable, aluminum variety.
