Ugly but a drop-dead cool find for sure!

That is absolutely the ugliest modified- motorized bicycle I have ever laid eyes on! But cool none-the-less! If would be very difficult for any of our ratty friends to out-do this one in an "ugly" contest! lol!:crazy:

I may try to take the crank out for new grease...never removed one like this. Will know more I a few days.

Looks like a two-speed.....pretty rare I would think. Complete bike.....nice...keep it that way....

You pulled it good ! With so many makers at the turn of the 20th century ..heck, I thought it was something to check out! Looks like I learned something again.....I like it when that happens!

Just pulled up what I could on Kastan. looks like they only go back to 1986..way to recent for this frame. I think originally this had 28 inch wooden rims and was for a very tall person. the seat tube rises to 23 inches from crank housing . Top bar is 22 inches from seat stem to goose neck...

It does work fine.....after modification,. been using one for a while now.

Here it is about one week later.. Took a little work putting in new bearings...new front struts...new spring bolt and cleaning up a rim set for the cremes I bought from a friend at the last area bike show for 40.00 bucks. Several years ago I came up with a really really cool way of recycling...

Early method of attaching pedals to crank. I used power-blaster penetrant and also used a torch to attempt removal but it preferred to stay attached. Pedals turn freely and will stay with the frame. I ground down a perfectly good 1/4 inch ratchet extension to fit the square hole to no avail. I...
