    After considerable screwing around I finally got the seat post removed.

    After some cleanng and sanding off some rust I have found some thin lugging and pretty poor (sloppy) brazing. I will post more photos this evening... Pedals come off from a square allen wrench like opening on end of threaded pedal rod and not from a traditional outside for placement of wrench.

    Here is a prized find. A cool old skip-toothed bike. Missing a fork but otherwise something to consider re-building. Any ideas on make and model would be helpful. Thanks!

    Freed up the goose neck and the crank bearings. Might be able to rebuild it. (?)

    1920s Hawthorne Flyer

    Excellent looking update on this cool bike. I have a pre WWI bike.(?)..still trying to pin down a date of manufacture...complete like yours with original straight wood rims and crusty tires. Sounds like this tire and wheel combination would also work for me.?? Barn find complete with dirt...

    Cleaned up the ...lets now get it correct..."The G.L. Miner Co." "LENOX" Rochester, NY wood wheeled bike. Still trying to iron down a date of manufacture..."looks like from 1906 to 1915...prewar WW I that is!" ?
