I use Krylon a lot. Never the metallic though. Krylon in regular colors is an enamel paint. When enamel dries, it is very shiny and clear coat doesn't really help. You're wasting time and paint. Clear coat worked best for me on lacquer paint like Dupli-coat. The clear Krylon will cloud if...

RatRod's right. Paint yourself up a "McDonald's" bike and see how fast those lawyers come and get you. Go to any shop that does truck lettering and they'll be able to fix you up with Schwinn decals. Shhhh!! Gary

For a Euro bike, that's pretty neat. I'm betting that bike is pre 1945. I don't think those little 3rd Reich looking eagles would have lasted past 1945. Gary

It's been a long time since I've ridden a bike with a lever action 2-speed, but IIRC the low gear is quite a bit lower than the kickbacks. The drawback on the lever action is the cable, plus the brakes are weak. Schwinn always put a front hand brake on bikes they sold with the lever action...

That's one of the nicest original Corvettes I've ever seen. I'm not positive but I think it came with a headlight. Everything else looks right. Gary
