    Gravity run

Here's the "low rent" version! I watched this awhile back and found it entertaining. I can imagine something like a combination rat bike show/downhill race with different classes for taco bikes, cruisers, tallbikes, and whatever else anyone wants to drag out. Doesn't have much to do with the...

    Schwinn tires

You can get chrome rims in the standard size from Husky.

    Gravity run

This looks like fun! Actually I've done it, but on a mountain bike.

    Schwinn tires

I wish someone would make a greater variety of tires for S7 rims, but I think 1-3/4" is the only size available. And precious few of those.

Cassette To Single For Cruiser Ebike?

Maybe I'll just put that hubmotor on a mountain bike and think of another way to electrify an industrial frame. I have a couple of ideas.

    Schwinn Heavi-Duti Front Hubmotor Ebike

Not too bad. I had to file the dropouts a bit and remove the fender (because I didn't want to modify it). I didn't file enough to preclude reverting to original if I ever decide to do so. I also used a torque arm, which didn't require any modification. In retrospect, I think it would be better...

    Schwinn Heavi-Duti Front Hubmotor Ebike

I'm planning to build another, different one soon.

Cassette To Single For Cruiser Ebike?

So, I'm getting ready to build my second ebike. To that end I have purchased a 1000 watt rear hubmotor kit with the typical 7 speed cassette. But I want to put the wheel in either a Worksman, Husky or Schwinn Heavy Duti frame. Is there a way I can eliminate the cassette and convert the wheel to...

    Schwinn Heavi-Duti Front Hubmotor Ebike

This section needs more activity, so here's my 1972 HD with a 1000 watt front hubmotor and 52V Li battery mounted on the original rear rack. I use this for my daily ride to the mailbox, which is a bit over a mile round trip. It has the original rear wheel and 20T sprocket. Crankset is original...

    SOLD Delete

I think you can put a caliper brake on it, but anything other than that or a coaster will require added mounts.

I used to have one of those; it was a great bike!

RocketRat, or maybe RockRat. I'm sure you get it, but for the benefit of those who might not, Huntsville is known as Rocket City.

    The $30 Cadillac Eldorado

Yep. I've heard a Caddy with an aluminum intake manifold is the same weight as a SBC with cast iron. And a Hawk probably weighs about the same as a Nova.

    Giants need love too...

I like Giants too. I have an early '90s Iguana that I got cheap at the Goodwill store about 15 years ago.

    The $30 Cadillac Eldorado

A pre-smog Eldorado with the 500 had 400 hp. A buddy of mine had one of those engines in a Studebaker Hawk, which is a light car.

Tumbles you've taken on a bicycle?

I like that someone can unceremoniously revive a ten year old thread and not catch any grief over it! Lots of forums aren't like that. I've had a few, but this one stands out in my mind. Early '70s and I had a new Schwinn 3 speed; I think it was a Collegiate. First bike I ever had with front...
