No progress. I spent my day following leads on parts for both builds. I did get a number of a guy to contact tomorrow that has a dismantled Fair Lady that was going to go threw it for his grand daughter but only got as far as taking it apart & now wants to sell it. Also brought home a stray

Looks like a fun toy. I can tell you from experience be careful with rear tire width as you have a rub hazard on both sides from the chains. I had to true my wheel slightly off center to clear both chains with a 26x2.2 rear tire

I'd probably go lower. It just doesn't look right that high to me.

Got some 559 wheels that may work I'll have to dig them up.

I'm thinking that too. I was thinking about it and idk how easy I'd come up with another HD S-7 for the front; don't think I've seen one with this thick of spokes before.

Thanks. Best $20 I've spent in a while Not sure what I'm going to do on wheels yet but I think I know a guy that has tires for S-7 wheels I can get but then I'd need a front wheel lol. Thinking this will be a good bike to lube up and ride.

So got to looking at the wheels and the rear is S-7 The front has a circle with something in it followed by what looks like CMC26x1.75/2.125HB

So I just picked up my first real Schwinn cruiser. Its a 1973 Heavy-duty. Has its S-7 wheels. A bit rusty but very solid & heavy lol. Wondering what this beast is worth.
