Re: >>> SINGLESPEED HOTROD >>> Me and my big mouth...  This kind of humor is what I missed the most while not visiting the forum the last couple of weeks/months... Kota rules. --- Today I had some more paint issues... Maybe not to my usual standard (if that's worth anything)...

    Barefoot Delivery- Last build shots...

Re: Barefoot Delivery- 6/15 Rough rack and more paint! long posts with lot's of pics are the best! :) ^ I've used boatlaquer for the wooden seat on my Cartboardtracker. It's thick, shiny, and clear/transparent but it does darken the wood a bit. Lot's of contrast...

    Jersey Devils B.C. - We're official!

Re: Jersey Devils B.C. - who's in? @ Bighit: SICK!! This is exactly what I meant!! And the missing tooth is a GREAT touch. The only thing that I'd done differently is the red background... Maybe a white outline around the head will set it off. And maybe, MAYBE.. also use the lettering colors...

    *The 76er* (I. Think. I'm. Done. update: 7/29)

Re: *The 76er* (A/C, wheels, and faux BMX update: 6/14) Dunno why, but I like this pic... Okay, You've seemed to have turned me over to use the straw thing. I know people are swearing by it, but I've remained very skeptical about it: - 2x36 straws is not something I have at my disposal right...

    ***The Viscount*** - It's rolling...

Re: ***The Viscount*** The seat high up in the air seams to work best on this bike. Looks a bit big though, but only from the sideview. I had a sprung Brooks seat mounted high, but it was too wide wit the low handlebars. Yours seems a bit narrower. What model is it? I almost always don't like...

    *The 76er* (I. Think. I'm. Done. update: 7/29)

Re: *The 76er* (Paint, parts, & prep, update: 6/8) Why not use some large pieces of paper for masking everything instead? Painting the rims using the open cut straw-method always seemed like a lot of work to me... I don't have any experience with that (maybe I should get some   ).

    -ROLAND- FINISHED ((sneak peak))

Re: -ROLAND- It rolls!!! 6/13 That doesn't qlarify the chainstay/chain-problem. If there is any ofcourse. I could be wrong but it looks like your future chain is gonna hit the chainstay with the wheel in this high position... Edit: BIke looks very cool btw...

    BUILD OFF #6 DISCUSSION

All true. Can't argue with that. Although I tell myself all the time that I'm in it to win. That's my motivation to try and do my best. That way I get the most out of my build. Getting a few votes (or even just one) would indeed be an honour. Think of it: Getting a vote means your bike is in...

    Pack Rat

That is just beautiful... Cool bike in a nice setting. One question though: What happened to the custom basket and the fenders? I don't remember them taken off the bike...

    * GROUND ZERO * (Now I can have a cold one!)

Re: * GROUND ZERO * (I rode it!) Awesome! 'Build-off bikes in action'-pics are the best. That bike fits you perfectly, eventhough it is smaller than I imagined. Cool to see you having fun. 8)

    BUILD OFF #6 DISCUSSION

yup. I agree. It won't bother me either... ...Untill... my build ends up '2nd' place, ofcourse....  In a competition, I'd still want to know... out of the three ultimate crowdpleasers which one would be THE ONE. 8)
