Thank you. I did not plan to be the first one with a lugged frame, maybe I could set a trend here [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk

Road runner v. 2. Lugged frame

I guess I can call it finished. The main idea was to build better frame than my previous board tracker and use as many components from it as possible. My two American style bicycles. That's me. Some specs: Custom build lugged frame with stainless steel lugs and cromoli tubing. Old...

Got lights installed! It took quite a lot of time to pass all cables inside the frame and solder the connectors. The rear lights are cheap ones I've won in a ruffle. I've modified them, put 1W red LEDs into each. The front one I had for a while, it's also led but somewhat fancier, it has got a...

Took it for a test ride today. It did not brake, rolls fine and fast. Need to change the stem though, it has to be shorter and with positive angle so riding posture would be more relaxed. (My arms are short) [emoji36] [emoji36] [emoji36] [emoji2] Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk

Finally I've decided not to sandblast but to clean it with an oven cleaner and some stainless steel wool. And the result is pretty shiny [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41][emoji41] So no clear coat for now, I'll let the metal age, so Id get a nice difference between stainless steel lugs and the tubing...

Managed to enlarge the struts. Now I can actually use front dropouts from my monark imitation fork and put a disk brake on the front wheel Basically it's the last stand on brazing and cutting. Have got a support for kickstand and some more things. Now the bicycle looks like this. Thinking...

It would help if the wheel would touch the spaace between fork legs.. but it touches the piece of spring thats in front of the main fork.

The fork has arrived! I had to widen it quite a lot so my wide tire would fit. But now I've got another problem to solve. There's a bit of the spring that pushes against the tire[emoji36] [emoji36] [emoji36] [emoji36] Will have to make struts longer!!! Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk

I didn't find any lug for double top tube, so I decided to make it myself so it would look like a lug.
