    Burn Baby Burn!

Well let's hope none of the three beers got in contact with it!:21: As far as riding it to church all burnt up... They might get the wrong idea and start to question who ya been hanging out with!

    Beast Chopper

Aw man I dunno, a chopper like that just screams for some serious "metal flake" action... don't even care what color!;)

OK, it's not a rat bike... it's now the "Big Boy G.I.Joe" toy

Hey, it doesn't get any more "Rat" than an old Army Jeep!:21:

    ISO 597 vs ISO 599

OMG! That's a nutshell?:21: This just keeps gettin' more complicated! Thanks for the link... Now where's that Capt'n Crunch decoder ring?

    ISO 597 vs ISO 599

Could someone explain in a nutshell this "ISO" stuff as it pertains to bike tires? I've never heard of it in bike terms prior to getting on the forum. I am familiar with "ISO 9001" but that's a completely different ball game...

OK, it's not a rat bike... it's now the "Big Boy G.I.Joe" toy

Oh I hear you on the OD shade disputes! I'm just gonna refer any confrontations to my neighbors MIL STD markings pub, pretty hard to argue with that. I, myself, thought initially the paint I'd received was too dark... spot on with the color chip in that pub, so I'm content. And keep in mind...

    GOODTIME CHARLIE!

Hey! No, no, no... You can't just go showing us an opened can of candy orange paint, and then leave us hang'n here!:agree:

Not really bike related but still lots of Rattiness...

Huffy Cranbrook " Rattitude Adjustment "

Awesome! Took an otherwise useless piece of Chinese junk and converted it into an American Classic!!:113: I'll never look at a Wally Mart stray the same way again!

Looking for positive ID of frame...

A Murray/Higgins!o_O Glad I queried, pretty far from the CWC I was told... Not bummed though, at least the "K" didn't mean K-Mart! Appreciate the info!

Looking for positive ID of frame...

Hey folks, hoping somebody can help me positively ID this frame. I was told it was a CWC, markings on the BB shell are: 40537 M0S-K MOD-205-213 I'm sort of in a pickle with it, was planning on using it for my quasi-clone G519 build (the lines are to close enough:rolleyes:). Got it and a few...

    Degreasing Parts

That Purple Power is a scale model builder trick for removing paint and chrome (albeit not same level chrome as dealt with here) from plastic parts... just don't leave it in too long. Remove the old paint with a tooth brush after soaking for awhile. Never tried it on metal painted parts... yet!

    Removing chrome

No wonder I can't get those rings out of the toilet now!:21:

Got a bike for free so decided to build it, Build.

Shame about the paint, you added 25 years to it... maybe it took offense to the premature aging:21:

    Earth Rat Cruiser

#1... with out a doubt! Like Luke said, they have that 7X look (and probably not the cost!).

OK, it's not a rat bike... it's now the "Big Boy G.I.Joe" toy

It will be all paint, my neighbor has a MIL STD pub from back in the day and the paint is the correct OD green for the period... not to mention, it's really, really hard to screw up what's basically flat green:rolleyes:. Being very careful with the prep and using self etching primer as the base...

OK, it's not a rat bike... it's now the "Big Boy G.I.Joe" toy

Quiz time, see if you can guess what Mike's building (Yes, yet another build in the queue!)? Hint: it's all green and it ain't a dragon, frog, or a Kawasaki! It won't be a 100% G519 clone but it'll be real freak'n close! Frame and rims still at the blaster, saddle is in the works for a "Kyle...

3 piece crankset on cruiser frame???

Hey I'm not knocking OPC's, I was just looking for something different to do with one of the two WM frames I have when I stumbled on that Core 77, then like an ..... went out looking for a Profile Imperial sprocket... and found one pretty cheap! If the dang thing would have fit the OPC I never...

    KWAJ bikes

Too cool! I'd always hoped I could land a SATCOM gig over there, never heard back so I ended up in Greenland for a couple years... bikes tend to last a bit longer up there.;)
