3 piece crankset on cruiser frame???

OK, well that portion is set in green (cash that is)... Just bought a set of Redline Monster cranks, 175mm ordered that redline BB from Niagara Cycle the other day. Gonna take a jaunt over to Profile and see if I can't buy the adapter direct... maybe see if I can't score some blem items and...

Custom high flange coaster brake hub

Oh man, if nothing else make those brake arm straps available... too cool (well all of it, but I figure I should be able to afford the straps!)!

3 piece crankset on cruiser frame???

Rob "Bicycle808", "A 3 piece BMX crank on the other hand, will possibly put you off the BMX builds. It's not actually hard, but it's more involved than any other cranks I've ever installed..." Oh it's not really a complexity issue in as much as it is just so many freak'n sizes, I was just...

3 piece crankset on cruiser frame???

Ah, "Bicycle808" comes in with the answers! No offense to everybody else, just that I knew from another thread he'd messed with a Workman frame and several of the items I'm tossing around... Thanks none the less for the information everybody! What I'm playing with here, for additional...

    Final Rankings

Some great builds folks!!! Being relatively new to the forum don't wanna ruffle any feathers here, what's the feasibility of sub categories for the next BO? At least a "Rat" and "Custom" with a "Peep's Choice" for Over All... Just a thought! Conrads to the winning bikes and anybody who managed...

3 piece crankset on cruiser frame???

I'm looking at using a 3 piece crank set on the Workman INB frame, mainly cause I obtained a really nice Profile Imperial 44t sprocket for peanuts (and it's what was used on the Core 77 build that inspired the initial project). Hopefully "Bicycle808" is reading, apparently done some updating...

Sutherland's Handbook Of Coaster Breaks Ebook.. I found it..

I don't know if the moderators would let you put that in the "How To" section or not, but if they would you could split it up into individual PDF chapters... JMTC! Any moderator suggestions?

A soldier went to war in 1941

Well if nothing else now the RRB members have a pilgrimage destination! To make the pilgrimage complete you have to show up at the bike eating tree dressed in an AC/DC Angus Young School Boy outfit and offer the tree an NOS Diamond skip tooth master link, while screaming as loud as you can, "The...

Eve wonder what a $500K bike looks like?

I really stumbled on this cruising around Evilbay, 24K gold plated, took two years to complete (Not really sure why it took that long?)... That's a lot of bling to be wearing around your neck. If we're lucky the "Beib" will buy it and ride it over a cliff! Then there's this pic I've...

Workman frame build possibilty... Now "Workman RS"! All but Fini!

Well since I'm not looking to go vintage look or specific, and I really don't have anything committed beyond the frame tabs being removed and sand blasted, I'm up for anything at this point. I did see a SA front hub that's currently under $60... just get shaken at the thought of lacing up a...

Workman frame build possibilty... Now "Workman RS"! All but Fini!

Hah! I just put a query up in the "How to" section for going to a 1 1/8" threadless conversion. How is going to a SA drum brake cheaper than V brakes, or is that just in the case of the Surly fork price? I figured I could go V brake a lot cheaper than drum hubs, particularly if it's not a Surly...

    Workman fork/headset question...

I'm working with a Workman INB frame (Yep, one of Ind-Chuckz), I would like to go over to a 1 1/8 threadless headset/fork set up. Now I figured that it wouldn't be a big deal, but then I checked and it turns out these ran/run a 1" steer tube, would have figured these would've been 1 1/8"...

Workman frame build possibilty... Now "Workman RS"! All but Fini!

So "Ind-Chuckz" been pedaling these Workman frames in the "for sale" section like a candy pusher at an elementary school playground... and I went in for two of them! Well I've been trying to figure a game plan for either one of them and then I came across this...

    RRB.com badges for 2014???

Yea that's a bit more than a "starting price" of $35, wonder where the quantity prices break down? Well I'd be interested in one if it goes off, but at $55 I'd really have to like the design.

    RRB.com badges for 2014???

Yep, and there was one for 2012 as well... Where these not a forum effort?

Official RRB Build Off 9 Finished Bike List

Just voted... Man, my head hurts!:headbang: too many nice build! Exactly what is at stake here, no money just bragging rights correct? Possibly some sub categories are due for the next BO? Just seems to me there are some really sweet builds that I would hardly consider "Rat", as I tried to give...

    RRB.com badges for 2014???

Hey I saw where there were RRB.com badges done for at least 2012 and 2013, anything in the works for a 2014 badge? Or did I once again arrive at the party late?

    RRBBO Compiled Winners List

Please add to the "For what it's worth column"... I think 'Yoothgeye's" effort of compiling this list, complete with pics and links, deserves a dedicated "sticky" forum subcategory! Maybe, "Previous RRBBO winners", or something to that effect?! Just my $.02... You can really see how the bar...
