    Elgin at local flea market.

I'd say if you can even get him to drop a little, jump! No shipping charges is always a plus even if you're just gonna part it out, you'll easily get your Franklin and then some...

    Klunker rear derailleur mounting...

Hey guys, I wanna thank everybody who chimed in with replies on this little excursion. Like I've been saying I'm only mildly looking into this at this time, got a few projects in front of any conscious planning going into a Klunker build so I'm pretty sure I'll have a few more questions down the...

    Klunker rear derailleur mounting...

Are you trying to do this on a Worksman? Nah, that thing is heavy enough anything added to that thing that makes it any heavier I believe it would have to be registered with the DOD! Of course heavier would make it one heck of a downhill bomber?! No if I roll on this project I'll be using a...

    Klunker rear derailleur mounting...

OK, yea I just went back over to the Alan Bond's Clunkers website, if you look at the Green Hybrid pics (which is supposedly an accurate Alan Bonds build, though Alan himself didn't build that particular bike) there's a pre assembly pic. There is apparently a derailleur hanger welded on...

    Klunker rear derailleur mounting...

I'm not really looking for anything too in depth, just more curious... Kind'a messing around on the "WWW" and checking out some of the OG Klunkerz. Now they preferred the Schwinn Excelsior frames (well Ok, a few of them), Suntour 5 or 6 speed with the atom drum brake hub. I didn't see anything...

    Spaceliner

To quote the Wolverine's brother upon first seeing his claws... "Ew, Shiny!" Some nice bikes here, Spaceliners ain't my cup of tea, but I still appreciate the futuristic design when you consider when these were produced. You guy's should get your Spaceliners (and anybody else who has one) and...

    Workman Inb becomes..."Lead Sled"

Alright so we got this forum member (Ind-ChuckZ), who apparently has a line on every Texas factory closure that was using these Workman Inb bikes. He's offering them up a some pretty nice prices, they ain't necessarily vintage but they do however have some nice lines... So I bought two of them...

    Awesome Clear-coat in an aerosol

Just my two cents on the Eastman 2K products... I bought a can of the Chassis Gloss Black and the High Gloss Clear. Used both products under less than desirable conditions... painting outside, no garage! Save your money on the colors, I really didn't see the benefit over using any other spray...

    Artifac

I have always dug the heck out of those turn of the century lamps, but could never think of an application that I would personally use one... This is exactly the kind of build I get in my mind when I envision them being used!!!! IMHO this thing is a piece of "ART":praise:, where are you gonna...

Chimin' in a little on the late side here, lots of BO bikes to catch up on... But this thing is off the freak'n hook!!!:rockout: Not sure who I can see riding this better, Willie Wonka, or Capt Nemo (League of Ex Gentlemen Nemo)??? I don't know about yourself, but if that was mine I wouldn't...

Holy Crap!:13: That rust trick really works it over good huh?! I still think my method would be more fun, not to mention the shock value when the nosey neighbors see you whizzing on your bike:crazy: Diggin' the heck out of the fenders, not very condusive to doin' wheelies though? ... and yes...
