    Sweet Leaf

Have you tried some ape hangers on it. I could picture it that way with the added benefit of a more comfortable ride.

    Unusual request

Hay fellow members, I see from the forum stats there are thousands of members on here so if I even get a fraction of that number that would be great. My town is running a competition to select an artist to put there artwork up on billboards this coming year. It would be some great exposure for...

I have these two caps from another old frame that fit on the bottom bracket. I assume they are to help keep the dirt out. But I am unsure how they get attached to the crank. Do they get placed between the lock nut and cones so they end up spinning with the cranks? Any help and pictures are...

    Secrets of the Masters

For all the old crusty bike builders who have been doing it for years I am wondering if you would share some of your secrets. Example: "I always put a little grease on my pedal threads to make it easier to remove them"

☣☢ VerBoten ☠ϟ - Elgin Twin Evanaction Build - Big Butt Strikes Again!!

Can you give the handlebar wrap a very light coat of a polyester resin? Just enough to soak in but not enough to kill the texture. Might help protect it some???

"I took an hour or so to break down the Sea Trails. It's May in Florida...it's starting to get hot outside, so I came in at about 10 am." Feeling the pain with you man. Wishing I was up at our other house in the mountains right now.

    What's your motivation?

I have always been a builder. As a kid I built my own bikes, wooden go carts to race down the back alleyway, forts in the woods, etc. Now as an adult the creative juices are still flowing. Between my photography, mixed media sculptures, my houses, and some display work I do I am still building.
