Best of both worlds :) ...that is a nice shade of og blue. Then to paint you'd only have to tape off and scuff up the rear of the bike. Now I'm starting to think 2 tone blue for one of my own bikes lol

What if you left the front end that color blue, and then navy blue for the rest of the bike with old school darts seperating the 2 colors starting just in front of the townie decal? You could even 2 tone that chainguard where it's stepped. Where I come from they don't seem to fetch much in...

Yes, more than happy to chip in to help out. I look at this site 3,4,5 days a week, and I understand that eventually yes things do need upgrading. I'm just glad you're not the kind to do things the photobucket way, I'm still annoyed about that :confused:

I agree... those century tires are really nice (I'm jealous), but some fatter 700c tires would fit the fenders better. I think those century's come in 50 wide? Just checked - yes they do. So that would be cool. But the clay tires look good too. This would be a tough choice for me... but I think...

I tend to use 3 different spoke calcs to make sure...this is after I'd twice ordered the wrong sized spokes :( I've been able to use them since for other wheels but sooo frustrating at the time. The last few sets of wheel builds I've been using harvested spokes - it's nice not to have to wait...

Yeah the lower straight bar really adds to the 'Phat'ness of the frame...and this was a cool looking frame to begin with. And with the 2.5 tires this is all looking super cool! It's all proportionally Phat :) Where did you get those cool tires anyway?

I have a soft spot for the Sachs 3 speed coaster hubs... actually I like most internal gear hubs, but the Sachs has cool looks and function. They made a great front drum hub too.

Awesome! I have a broken 10 speed frame that I now know what to do with :) I was going to cut off the chain stays/dropouts to make beer openers, but another shop stool would be way cooler. That is a nice Atlantis, great score!

That's no ordinary bent springer, it looks like it's been chopped and extended yeah? I'd like to do something like that...the wheel way out in front like that is rad. How much have you added to the forks and the struts?

I had a look over the older build-offs and saw one titled '2nd chance build off'. I really want to finish my last build off bike - I got parts gathered and painted rims laced wheels and that was it, I couldn't get the weather to cooperate whenever I had time to paint the frame. Anyone...

Looks great ... I'm also digging the bars. I really like the front rack with the raw finish. I like the cut back & matt blacked rear fender, but it might look better with no front fender? Cool chainring too.
