That's a shame about the coaster up front, but It'll be cool to see how you do a suicide lever for a drum! I really like the finish on the tank - is it a textured spray like a sandstone finish or something? Is that it's colour or did you put another colour over the top of the texture?

Wow this is looking great! That's a really nifty idea with the hinged rear fender - I've never seen that before.

Yeah Dr. Tankenstein! That's where I first saw the schwinn style springer used in a reversed position - cool idea and sounds like it works well. I may do something like this but I'm leaning more towards a monark style double spring set up. Once the springs arrive I'll do a couple of mock-up...

OK I've sat on the fence for a while about what to call this build, and coz it's a kind of 'what if Dyno had made a fully dressed classic' kinda build... I will for now at least, call it Dyno twin-flex special. Hope that fits on the tank Wecome Aussie winter... I was going to post some pics of...

Thanks for showing the internals of the hub - I haven't seen inside a coaster brake SA hub before. Rim & hub & black spokes look good! Interesting design with the peanut shapes on the flanges...I love little details like this

Definitely 'fat turndown' ...your bike is fully sick man - I love how the colours are sandwiched between the black forks and rear stays. The headtube looks great the colour it is. Also cool tank decals! Fantastic build, thanks for sharing it!

:) great ideas, but I need something a bit more classic 40's 50's to fit the 'could have been' idea. Also as a model name to write on the tank like the 'glide deluxe' is on the Dyno top tube. I like 'special' as it was used on cars here in Australia. I think it was 40's 50's there was a standard...
