So this dude picked this ratty pos out of a ditch after a week of seeing it there. Flat tires, rust, etc. I drove 2.5 hrs each way and paid $60 for this pile of trash.

So here's where this frame sits now. I broke it down and sprayed it cherry red on request of son... it was too dark, so I covered it in chrome red laquer. It's even worse imo. Hopefully I can get it done up bronze tomorrow.

No, many volks were 2 piece back in the day. These ones in particular are early forged gram lights. GL-57f pro. They never got imported by wholesalers in the us. Ended up getting them local from a guy whose brother lives in Japan. Same barrels as the volk gtc, which are what the bicycle wheels...

I'd love to, but those are my babies lol. Theres maybe 5 sets in the US. I wish I had the fab skills the guys on the site do. I got tons of ideas...
