"Building a welding JIG first" - design process and thoughts

Thank you Deven 🤩 I noted the same thing: 22mm / 7/8" for the stays. Also possible for bars. I promise I won't copy your builds

ORBO ORBO Inspiration and Entertainment: Klunker Documentaries

I did this a few years ago in forests with my Electra ratrod. Going really fast on gravel roads and sandy pits and it felt like "Flat track racing" (thinking about the early days of Indian, Harley Davidson, and more builders. The races that came just after board track racing.) There is also a...

    What are you listening to?

Their new single. Interesting how their band name and song name is similar to a story in Portugal. Interesting story and beautiful music in my humble opinion

"Building a welding JIG first" - design process and thoughts

I see what you mean and the points you mentioned there. The HF roller indeed has the rollers quite close together. thought the wheel was quite handy, but you mentioning the 'handcrank' on my roller in regards to storage, I get it  And thanks for showing me the Grizzly roller. I...

Show Us Your BUILD OFF BIKES In Action!

Rainy 13km commute. Was nasty but incredibly fun! There was a spray going up from the front wheel and redirecting/blowing full on my face 🥸 I am buying diving goggles next time. Silly elevator music :21:

"Building a welding JIG first" - design process and thoughts

Very nice! My own design tube clamp came to life. Its made for the lower part of a seat tube, since the bottom bracket is located in the belly instead of in line with the seat tube. The two screws can hold it firmly on the JIG in any position. Reason is, I wanted to be able to use it with a...

"Building a welding JIG first" - design process and thoughts

Thanks for your advice, I will do that! I am thinking about buying this one: RV-3 Rotary Tube Notcher It is expensive compared to some, but the rotary function gives me a lot of options and adjustments. Even out-of-centre notching made easy. American Made 🤩

    TRADITIONAL ⚡️⚡️⚡️THUNDERBOLT⚡️⚡️⚡️

While building and generically checking the build threads, I missed the last pages of this one. And wow this is a beautiful machine! 🤩 For my interpretation is a sweet mix of board- flat track racing / speedway / klunker / time machine! I really enjoyed your tank fabrication and assembly proces...

"Building a welding JIG first" - design process and thoughts

Hi guys. I finished the welding JIG. Just a few last things to adjust and assemble. I bought an tubing roller. I nearly bought a new one, but then I found one on a marketplace for 1/3 of the price. Now I start looking at other tooling like: Tube Notcher. Rollers for specific tube diameters...

Do u ever sell a bike u made?

Thanks, I get it. I thought the interest in these rat bikes was larger in the USA, since the people are more farmiliar with Ratrods. The area I live in, people generally don't like anything that is 'outside of the standard'. I sell most bikes to people that live in the larger cities. Thats true...
