Distilled water and sand is a cheap way to clean that tank like new. Just empty the tank pour in distilled water and sand and shake for 20 min. and rinse well. let air dry. Here is the link for the you tube. It cost me 80 cents and some playground sand at the end of the street

Actually mine does not. I have a arched bottom tank tube as well. This is a better frame shot before the build.

Here is my 40's CWC I have no idea exact year or which brand name it was originally, I have tried researching it and keep getting different answers. I love the look of these frames though.

I did this for the build off nine this year. It's a mid 40's cwc frame and a mid 50's briggs 6bs. I am starting on a Worksman pedal power next. I love the bare steel frames and in AZ rust is not too much of an issue with a coating of wax.

Yeah, these motors don't cost a whole lot and can be finicky but if you get a good one they do pretty good and are a blast. It has been a bit warm in AZ so I have not been out in a couple weeks. I burn on these all winter every weekend if I can.

Very cool bike. It definitely has its own flavor! Have you been able to test it yet? I think they are a blast and a good option for lazy day riding around town.

Very cool, very cool. Loved doing the build off and it was cool seeing how my favorites panned out against the majority. Some were obvious to me and some really surprising. Great time!

I would say that is an ideal bike to motorize up. If this is your first I would find the next to cheepest kit on ebay and go from there. The kit is pretty solid and if you have a damadged peice from transit these vendord do reship new pieces to cover the damadge. Take a couple hour to set it...

Thanks everyone, Hey, I did get more than my vote in the voting section so I am stoked! I have looked through all the bikes involved and man people came to play! This build off really added to the experience of building a bike.

I will be watching out for your posts man. It's a drag you ran into the problems you did. Such a cool bike should not be rushed.

The build looks really tight, along with the photo. Very cool build man, I know you did a ton o work on this from watching the thread. After seeing the final photo's you made all the right choices on this one. Congrats brotha!
