    found a nice black wall slick that was wider than all the new stuff so i just painted the White wall on it! rear rim was trued and the chrome on it is actually good.

    well when i pulled the front rim out it was still in one piece!!! hooray!! new rim strip and white wall tire, greased it up and looks presentable at least.

    you can get it at autozone, or harbor freight. probably a lot of other places. about $20 a gallon

    seat post cleaned up nice. The head badge was not to my liking. Taped it up, painted, and carefully cleaned the paint off the letters. tedious !!

    some of the mechanical parts cleaned, all the bearings and races were in great shape surprisingly for the pedals being so very worn down

    ultrasonic cleaner works best for the bearings but my company one is down. What i have found works is after it soaks in parts cleaner or kerosene and you have scrubbed the big stuff off soak it in acetone for a couple hours, remove it and let it dry for 30 min and simply tap it on a sheet of...

    Thanks guys, This will be a straight forward restoration, i don't have the original seat and may never find one, so I'll recover a seat pan. This one will go back to Yellow and be a rider!

    Thanks Guys, heres a few more pics. First one is with the shifter i will use as you can see the coaster brake works good by the long patch in the pic! it shifts fine and actually is a nice sturdy bike ride wise, the front drum brake is COOL!! Don't think i will use this seat in the build.
