    The Hawkliner

I had these fenders powder coated a few years ago for another project but ended up going with a chrome set instead. These will work great on this project. I'm going with a flat black powder coat on the frame, fork, fenders, and a few other odds and ends parts and then most likely a high gloss...

    The Hawkliner

I purchased this beautifully powder coated Elgin seat at Memory Lane. I think the design and shape of the seat will fit in perfectly with the look I am going for.

I'm beginning to gather all my parts into a big box. Some need painted, some are ready to go as is, I still need to purchase a few others.

    Firewater Flyer

Good luck with the recovery, horrible story. One positive note....love the McCaulley chain guard. I've had one of those in my stockpile of parts for years and I just never find the right build for it. One of the coolest parts I own. Best of luck in the build off!

I just bought that at the Memory Lane swap meet last week for $5, lol. I originally had set aside a different style Spaceliner guard - the one with the ripply bottom edge - but thought this one would look even better with my build.

    Deep Contusion

I can't quite tell if that seat in the image is black/white or that weird blue color Schwinn used on a few bikes but I do have a correctly colored mesinger "S" seat for that color frame if you ever decide you need one.

    The Hawkliner

Here are the bulk of my raw parts waiting to be powder coated. They should be ready in the next 10 days or so. The bars are an early prototype from a young guy who is currently making re-pop Airflow handlebars out of California. I purchased an Airflow set and also included the prototype bars in...

BTW, my last name is "Hawk" so the Hawkliner name may stay or go. Not sure on that name yet.

    The Hawkliner

Hi, all. I'm not new to the forum but this is my first build off bike of any sort. I'm excited and my expectations are solidly in check. I have a collection of several hundred bikes and normally I like for my bikes to look their age but ride like new. I like to rehab bikes everyone else has...

SOLD Mini twinn frame, fork and chainguard for sale

They will remove your ads without asking prices. Just an FYI. Listing stuff and asking for offers sets up an auction atmosphere and this isn't eBay. Good luck with your sales.

various sized heavy duty layback seatposts

Question - I need a 13/16 seat post in black that flanges out to accept one of the newer repop flamed seats that I assume would sit on a 1" post. Is that something you could concoct for me? Or should I get the layback and put a shim on it. I've never tried a shim up by the seat.

    bicycles with car names

And when I say "misspelled correspdondingly", I mean they spelled them as the car companies did, not the regular spellings.

    bicycles with car names

That is 100% incorrect. I can't speak for the other bicycle manufacturers but Huffy definitely produced a car name series. My uncle was the vice president of the plant here in my hometown and they even had licensing from the car companies to do so. The names are even misspelled correspondingly -...

I'm going on record as guessing the Wasp and Hornet are for nature's wasps and hornets and not after vehicles. But who knows.
