Although custom bikes are preferred anyone is welcome...

    FreakBike Nation Forum

Just wanted to let those of you interested in knowing ....... Gigs thinks she finally got the messageboard figured out. So far ANYONE can once again view the board WITHOUT being a member. You still have to sign in to post though and this will not change. If anyone IS still having problems please...

my 2011 winter project ( the gangster ) basicly finished

Just wanted to let you guys know that The Gangster took FIRST PLACE in the FBN Grande Burrito Build Off! Diceman pretty much dominated in the votes! This was definitely a well thought out build with plenty of trick little features that stood out from all angles! I'm lucky enough that...

    Snooty Rat Rodders??

I like all makes and styles of bikes. Some more than others, but all bikes in general. My favorites are true customized bikes. So here's where my snootyness begins .... The bikes I really appreciate are the ones that immediately stand out because of their presence, not the type that someone...

    Winter Burrito Build Off

Thanks Outlaw, That lingering cough is killer. I've lost many nights of sleep because of it. I hope you get over it soon, no one needs that crap for as long as it seems to stay with everyone. As for my Autorama bike .... I've got a few pics up on FBN under "Charity Case", but I plan on putting...

    Winter Burrito Build Off

Hey guys, sorry I've been absent on this thread (and the board). Since late October I've been battling back and forth with pnuemonia and the flu that seems to never go away. I also had a sebicious (spelling) cyst on my back that got infected and pretty much left me immobile for a week or so...

    To fat to ride :-/

Here's a few of the different bikes I've built over the years .... Beulah ... not the prettiest but it rode extremely well. Gave it to a friend to finish off. Rat B. Nimble ..... my all time favorite bike! I rode this for most of last year and then gave it to ShaggyEvil. Dark Journey ...

    To fat to ride :-/

I'm 5'11" and 300 lbs. I can't speak about the manufactured stretches, as I build my own bikes outta throw away bikes or completely from scratch. I have ridden a couple of manufactured stretches and there's not much versatility to them when it comes to rider positioning. I have short legs and a...

    foot shifter

Helloooo .... Space Mountain? Sheesh! I forgot that your hills are usually less than a 3 degree grade. GO FOR IT! I'm anxious to see what you do.

    foot shifter

Should work but might not be too practical. I would think that you'd have to mount it far enough away from your foot that you wouldn't bump it as your pedaling. So if that's the case, you would have to remove you foot from the pedal which is not a problem unless you wanna shift going up or down...

    Lets See Those CCM's

Hey Rob, I kinda got a his-n-hers set. Maybe RecycledBikez would be willing to help me out with the pics and info? I'm chomping at the bit to pick them up from him and do a little ride on in his area.

Buckaroos! Westernize Your Bike And Trike

I haven't been able to find the pics of the bike with the saddle and horse head. I think they must be in some of the older pics from other Ann Arbor shows. But I did find these .....

Buckaroos! Westernize Your Bike And Trike

My cousin had the saddle and head on his bike back in the 60s. I tried for years to get the set from him but never could. The saddle definitely left you walking like a cowboy! I think I may have some pictures of the Memory Lane bike or somone elses from the Ann Arbor Bike Show a couple of years...

    DETROIT AUTORAMA CUSTOM BIKE SHOW

This thread is a couple of years old. You need to do more than just post that you need four spots. Bicycle Don very seldom gets on this board and the chance of him reading this particular thread is slim. If he does post any Autorama news on RRB it will probably be on the 2011 Autorama thread or...

Owosso, Michigan New Years Day Ride.

No probs Rick I'm still working on the webpages. Lots of pics and videos have been 'stolen" in an effort to bring all the craziness together! I think everyone will be happy. I've alway got room for more though so let the Peddlers know that I'm ready to steal!
