    My new FATTIE

Looked for the zebra strip orange after your earlier comment about it. Wal Mart had this, and I almost bought the Superman print. Ha! Have you had the tire/tube off yet? If not you are in for a surprise. My factory rim strip is not the usual rubber stretchy stuff, but instead a fabric of...

    duplicolor

No, not that exact color layers. In general I love the Duplicolor color choices, I hate how it chips off if you look at it wrong. Very fragile paint in my experience.

    Ace American Electric Motorbikes

They are expensive. One of the Slow Spokes DFW members has bad knees, and owns 2 electric bikes. He pedals along with us and hits the button when he needs a boost.

    Schrader Valve Hole

If you take Gary's advice (good advice BTW) choose a spot between spokes that are pretty much parallel to each other so you can reach the valve stem easier. See the BOAG wheel advertisement picture to the right to see what I mean about the spokes not being crossed.

    My new FATTIE

Question: Did yours come with green rim tape, or did you install it? I did my front rim last nite with some orange "Duck Tape" that matches the paint perfectly. The black rim strip that came in mine is very hard to deal with! I also sealed up the drill outs with clear silicone. Took the...

    craigs list flooded

people list what they have. Box stores have sold millions of bikes, so that's what they have and want to get rid of, as they are throwaways in the minds of most people who buy them. DFW CL and garage sales are flooded with outgrown cheap kids bikes.

Fat cruiser build with Car tires

I'm no stress engineer, but I think you need to gusset the other tube on the bottom bracket something like you did with the kickstand mount. Amazing work, will keep watching!

Better Way to Install ERGO Grips

*IF* you have hand brakes --- Install them backwards. Seems crazy, but they support the Palm of your hand instead of the Heel of your hand, way more comfortable if you have hand brakes. No Hand Brakes -- install as usual. .

    My Moto finally arrived!

Thanks, I'll give that a try after I install the washers. Ratrod Steve should offer some of his sticker designs as a continuous rim strip! ;)

    My Moto finally arrived!

Mine does it too. I can't understand how it happens, except the wheel must flex on turns. I read that solution too, but thanks for the reminder. I couldn't quite remember where the spacers go, so thanks to you, I won't have to spend hours to search that thread, it's really long now. I think...
