    Secrets of the Masters

take that cheap valve core removal tool and saw off those 2 thread fixers that always get hung up on the spokes. If you think you need to use the parts you sawed off, just buy 2 of them. them are cheap at walmart.

    Craigslist nightmares and dreams...

So I have this unusual Airborne brand MTB up on CL for a couple of weeks. No one seems to know what to make of it, myself included. But it's pretty obvious that it falls much higher than a box store bike, but not anywhere near high end. I'm getting consistant offers, not what I think it's...

Tips For Riding In Big Packs of Riders (as in an event.)

On the rides where the have multiple starts, ie: racers first, 100 milers, next, 100K next, etc. we start with the 50 milers although we ride 25. All the kids are in the 25 mile and less group. You never know what a kid in a crowd will do right in front of you.

    Back in a big way

The parts will tell you what you want to replace. They break, that's your clue. Want to reduce weight? replace tires and tubes. Still, they make a fun bike. Glad to see you back!

    Lets see your winter bike.

On my ride video, I was riding flat ground for the most part in about 3 inches of snow with about 4.5 lbs in each tire. I'm not even in shape for this. It is a lot harder than you would think. My shirt was soaked in sweat when I quit. I would agree with everything you said. Good thing I...

    Cruiser Transport Option

Hitch rack is the way to go. I have 2 of them, a platform and a hanger style. Never have had a problem with scratches using either one. But, I tie everything down including bungie for the front wheels, so they don't move. Platform is nice for those MTB bikes with the strange shaped frames...

    Lets see your winter bike.

Not too often that we get actual snow here. Earlier this week it was 2 days of sheet ice. So I had to take the Fat One out yesterday. 4 1/2 lbs air, zero slippage! Ha!

LTJ's 1981 DATSUN STANZA (A10) WANNABE RALLY CAR. SOLD and moving.

Back when I did my car the 4 spoke AR Libres like BRE ran on the 46 car were popular. I never had a set. I ran a set of 6 spoke Z car wheels, mainly because I needed a larger wheel to clear the Large Z car front disk brakes. Little known fact, actor Paul Newman got his start racing 510s.
