Thanks cats! I spent a few more hours coming up with the mechanics today, still need to fit, finish and polish but worked like a charm on the test run.

The modern upgrade scenario is cool but hard to tell how it looks with the whole concept from the tight shot. To me I think with the transmission and the little modern tweaks you've done the bars hint to a barn fresh redo fit for the track.
