Me too Moisstink, I wanted the classic low bobber look in a cycle. I spent a lot of the afternoon on her and just got back from the coveted shakedown run and she's rides so nice and low I was gett'n thumbs up from centipedes cross'n the road! Here's a rundown of the list today: More kids bike...

Thanks Bum, I had a great Bday with my girls. Yes! Slow progress due to the distraction of the daily grind but as soon as the kids go down I'm out making the neighbors hate me. I have some Congo Jammer news, I wasn't able to attend the event to see her get auctioned, I was only told she'd fetch...

I vote "Pipe" I'm not one for just adding something because, but the theme warrants....the traction bars, the tow hook In my opinion the pipe just adds to the symmetry of the bike and the theme of your build.

Nailed it buddy! I have always seen the 62 Vette scallop in that inset....didn't know the 58 props but perfect lines...., love it! This build is Darryl Starbird'esque....go cat go!

I'm too broke to lay out a buck seventy to grab one but you're right, that'd be the cats meow.... Necessity is a mother! I'll cut and weld something that'll work good and traditional

I agree, that one is simple and dead on! Thanks for the offer, I definitely want to learn the process but I better build the neck like I want before I make one or not. But I want to learn the process.,,,, yours and Renaissance mans tanks make me want to sling some resin!!!!

Thanks guys. I'm not rushing this phase.... I'm not liking as much as I thought I would. The front end is cool it's low and I'd like it if it wasn't my desire to build a bobber themed bike... I think what I love about the bobbers in the front the most is the traditional forks.... Staring at it...

Thanks Jasper! Have at it brotha...I'm Johnny come lately so nothing I'm doing hadn't been done before. Bobbers are coolest bike to me, just makes sense to emulate one in a cycle:cool2:

This thrift store score was just shaped too cool to pass up...I think I have a plan for where it's going on the bobber.

    Fabulous Fifties Fixie?

Really dig that front fork on the chopper, so much potential for an old school chopper build!!!!

Thanks for mentioning Kingfish...This one was better than most material so I hung onto it for using it for projects... I get what you're saying, seen a few make "tourist tacos" on the beach over the years myself. The wall thickness was the same or a little thicker as the bikes I cut off.

Normally I'd agree but I'm really think'n Old School Bobber on this one and the proportions are smaller.

Fixing the back rusty-swiss forks with a fold-n-go beach lounger I like my bikes a little on the trashy side.

With a "Fez" come great responsibility. One simply doesn't choose the Fez, the Fez chooses you... enough nonsense... yep, I'm still going the way I told you I was... lowrid'n is my thing. I mocked around a little but think it's looking a lil too OCC, think the 8" bent springer forks I have will...
