I have some Chinese generic bars similar to the Salsa Moto-Ace, and a zero rise 31.8 stem. Both are black. The pedals and grips I have coming are both red. As far as the seatpost, I think I have an old Odyssey one that would pop right on Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Still waiting for china... But I threw some temporary parts on and...... Its rideable! I still need to: -Replace the seatpost with a longer one (courtesy of an old schwinn exerciser) -Install the proper stem, bars, and grips -paint or replace seatpost clamp -get better pedals

OK. Finally a buildoff I can get behind. I'm in with this Going Neo Klunk with it. New school MTB stuff on a 63 year old bike. The purists wont be happy. I don't care what they think.

    The Plastic Machine

Thanks for the kind words fellas In terms of longevity, I would bet my life savings to say that this thing would outlast a steel or aluminum bike as the plastic doesn't corrode or react to any chemicals. We have tanks that have been in the field for 20 years or more, so I'd say it will handle...

    The Plastic Machine

Like butter. Could use a larger sprocket up front, but that's a quick fix. First ride prompted the addition of star washers on the rear axle, as the painted aluminum and smooth plastic allowed the wheel to slide forward after a couple miles. But that is the only issue so far. No slippage since...
