Re: Big Cat BMX The frame is for an industrial bicycle company called husky. They are based out of Houston. As for the hubs they are are Schwinn 6x6's I believe. They were out in the late 90's or early 2000's.

Congrats Man! Mofaux is head and shoulders above all. There were so many great bikes this year, great job!

This took way longer then it should have. I'm pleased with the way bike turned out, it rides super smooth and the shifting is crisp and clean. I was shooting for a stripped down resto-mod style bike. So I trimmed off all the fat I could find, chain guard, fenders and kickstand. Parts list...

Pulled the masking off. Have a little touch up to do, and of course clear coat needs to be added. One word says it all!

So I added so color today. I couldn't think of a better color then "Nighthawk Black Pearl" for a hotrod.

Re: Manta Race UPDATE, First coat of primer, ETC Thanks, That saddle has been on a couple of differnt bikes but not in a long time. I love it and could never let it go. Should be perfect for this bike. I decided tonight to make a crank change. These should fit the theme well.

Re: Manta Race I wish I could say yes. I started off strong but as is custom life got in the way. Back on track now. Built the wheels this weekend and will post pics this week.

Re: Manta Race Incorrect, with the old trek frames the braze-on is more then just the post. There is a curved flange that fits the shape of the down tube. They are also bonded to the frame and have a set screw let runs through the frame to the other tab. I wanted to save the both sides and...
