Well, I blew it regarding the springer for the AMF Renegade. I should have done a bit more research, didn't realize there were different lengths of steer tubes and the one one I ordered seems to be too short. Looks to be the same length as the stock tube but the thickness of the springer...

My '70

The Raleigh redlines finally came in for the Stallion so I did a bit more cleaning on it and got them mounted up. Maybe I should be posting in the fresh finds forum, heck I don't know but here's where I started and where I am now.

Why no, I hadn't thought of that ;)lol. The springer is already on the way so I'll probably use it regardless but I might try to straighten the fork before I pull it. I don't throw anything away so the fork will hang on the wall and stay with the bike if I change my mind down the road.

Ya the fork cracked me up, must have been a helluva jump! I wasn't sure on the guard, bike's a bit cheesy, was thinking that anything was possible.

I cleaned some more on the stallion tonight, the front wheel turned out much better than expected (look at the pic at the beginning of this post). I have a pair of Raleigh redline tires coming for it, should be here soon. I'm liking this bike more and more, the longer I own it.

The truck came from Iowa actually. I met him at the Greenfield Iowa Swap Meet when I bought it last fall.
