Your welcome ratrodzrcool! I think this was the best show for this area that I have been to. The weather was near perfect. The amount of bikes new, old or whatever was good. For the most part I felt the prices were fair if you looked around... Oh yeah my wheels were gone in about 4 minutes...

Looking at the ad copy the bike reminds me of a fold up bike just add a hinge or two and you have it.

I disagree use the bike as a mult speed bike. Having just one gear with a bike under a load not a good idea. Having trying to tour or urban bike a single spd bike was not the best idea. Having varible gear ratio depend what you are on is helpful It really depends on your use of the bike.

These are good looking bikes. I have an all chrome one with the springer front fork, like yours. I call mine "Frightliner" had for more then a year and it still not road worthy.

Those mid 80's mountain bikes make great metro commuter bikes as well as nice touring bikes. I have a Blackdiamond Wildwood that I'm making into a touring bike of sorts. I have a front shock fork that I have pulled off and am looking for a solid fork to put in it.s place.

If I can come it will be with pictures of old dead people to trade for parts. Don't have any parts to trade most of the stuff I find are chinese made mtb. Which I fix and give to a foodbank. looking for a 26 inch single spd non schwinn wheel.

I have cycled toured Germany and loved it. Best way to see a country is on a Bicycle. My German is really rusty like one of my bikes but as soon as I hear and start having to speak it, it gets way better. The best way to learn a language is by doing it every day.

I know this might drive the price up on them or I didn't look at the site close enough. The ones that are like op art could you have made them with reflective paint. for a real interesting look when car light are shown on them.
