Watching this project develop will be fun and interesting! Always was looking for a project like this to do but always getting stuck with bikes from China to work on.

Doing a lot of urban riding I have found the best tires for me has been the Victoria's ride quaties is very good. But I set of Kendas on my Trek 1500 700 x 25 they seem to be OK too. My other bikes have Michelin's on them and These tires are very good too.

My mom had an ugly old red Nova with a blown 6, dad put 350 in it. It might have been ugly but it sure could get to the grocery store fast enough.

What you have is a modified UO8. Just a good basic bike. I had one that I modified for touring. I put alloy wheels on it 27x1 3/4 which is the stock size, mine also had a brooks saddle on it. I changed the derailieurs to Sun Tours but Shimanos would work too. The Simplex Derailiuers were...

Nice looking bike! Looks great as is! Please wear a helmet I was t boned on my bike while the driver was doing 25 mph. Had a helmet on and live to ride another day.

Semi Rat, clean up the chrome and the frame some but leave most of it as is. Making so that it is rideable and think about doing some more to it later.

Nice looking bike. One idea I thought would look good would be chrome fenders, that got nixed. The Black fenders would really set the thing off. Any thoughts on going to internal geared rear hub. Might make life easier in getting around.

I'm thinking Ti rear facing forks say perhaps a track bike that was worked over to a roadie. Need way better photos to tell for sure.

Just because I live north of ya doesn't mean I'm UofM or a state fan. But I do lean towards the boys in green. I'm more a fan of the game, I'm more into the tacitics of the game. If Urban Mayer has a better game plan then other coach then I'm his fan.
