blue GT is gone, dyno is up for grabs.

The other one was a "custom" made frame, guy didn't remember who made it. it was reynolds with bocama lugs on it but in very poor shape all rusty and crusty.

You guys might be right, bike came from the original owner and he said that the bike was how he got it from the bike shop except for the missing campy seatpost, brooks, bars and tubulars that were on another "custom" bike he had, which also came home with me :)

This was literally out of a hot texas barn right after Christmas, looks to be a 1966 P13 Schwinn Paramount with some non original parts like the seatpost, stem, mavic clincher hoops, mafac brake levers and calipers.

Picked these up this morning from a buddy of mine. These were found at the scrap yard!!. Blue one has already found a new home :wink:

Have seen your bikes before, they're beautiful and provide good inspiration, hope mine looks just as good when I'm done with it. Paint is basecoat, clearcoat urethane.

I've never been good on keeping up a build "diary" but will try with this one. Here's what I started with and a couple of phone pics from the paint guy for it's current state. Frame is a 1937 Schwinn Excelsior. Project will start sometime next year and I'll be updating with pics as I go...

You're clairvoyant now :D . I'm leaving on vacations in 2 days but got a "can't say no to" offer on it, bike is going to it's new owner in Germany in a couple of days.
