Picked this 84/85 mongoose mountain bike from the local CL for cheap. Hey Steve got any pics of your old one? specially the rear derailleur, this one is missing the original one and has 1 non original crank arm, everything else seems to be there including the pro class wheels.

Found this one today, these are getting harder to find in this condition.

There was an estate sale this morning very close to my house, so I went like 1 hour after it had started and found this 60's? Schwinn sitting in the patio for cheap so I had to take it home with me.

Got this 86 Schwinn Cimarron with an all Chromoly frame and fillet brazed main tubes which I'm turning into a "touring all arounder" bike. Threw on some super moto's on it and looks like it has plenty of room for some fenders. Trying to decide on bars, what do you think? drop bars or flipped...

After a 2-3 month break from visiting garage sales and flea markets decided to go look today and here is what I scored for $50 bucks!!! ;) a 6 Speed 1980's GT 24" Cruiser, og cruiser bars, red tuff neck stem, og pads, mismatched wheels, ambrosio front and araya back, very comfy roadmaster...

Chrome cleaned up really nice on it, put on some red wheels and some cruiser bars and 3 piece profile cranks, just need some red grips

I would say the other party got the better end of the deal, those look to me like bullseye cranks and bullseye hubs with roller cam brakes, looks like an early 80's slingshot.
