I think this is a 600a, don't know what year. Trying to get rid of it.

I believe the Californian is full chromoly and the expert is not.

I was there early Friday, saw that prewar schwinn and the price wasn't to bad on it. But I sure don't need anymore bikes so I just closed my eyes and kept walking 8), everything else was for sure way overpriced. Nice pickup on the schwinn.

Well, Threw in some tires, removed some stuff, flipped the bars on it and turned into a rider. It actually rides very nice and solid.

Went to look at some bikes at a buddy's home and came back home with this Schwinn Hornet. Non original seat, tag, bars, pedals, everything else seems to be original.

Buddy of mine scored this one while driving down to Austin from Dallas. He found it next to a trailer house and got it for peanuts. Him being a road bike guy traded me for a couple of road bikes I was going to flip anyway. ;)
