    bike storage suggestions

Harbor Freight has this bike lift hoist that looks like it would work and at $9.00 each could be a cheap way to clear the floor. I would replace the rope with sturdier stock to lift vintage bikes. As WE ALL KNOW these are HEAVY beasts! http://www.harborfreight.com/bicycle-lift-95803.html

Before and After build shots for my Worksman Trike

Thanks, Jason-that was what I was going for. Here is a pic of the one that inspired me. It was taken at a H-D rally in Milwaukee. Mine is older than this one (probably 60's but could be older) due to mine not having that short brace between the 2 down tubes. Someone at the Worksman site said...

Before and After build shots for my Worksman Trike

A previous owner started to rat out this vintage Worksman trike by grafting on an early 50's Monark springer. I took it to the next step and beyond!

various sized heavy duty layback seatposts

Will you have any more of these? Could use a 13/16" with a bend like the 2nd one from right (that is laying on top of 4 other seat posts)

Nice black on black Schwinn Swindler-not a fanboy of any new Schwinn, but this has potential http://charlotte.craigslist.org/bik/5569315320.html

Really like that custom trike work stand! Looks like a lot of work, but the only way to go. I'm starting a Worksman trike project soon and will take the time to build a stand like this-a little work on the front end makes work in long run easier. NICE JOB!!

    Vintage Worksman Industrial Trike

Here are some mock up shots with the vintage cooler I won on the bay. Cost more to ship than I won it for! Waiting for some parts to arrive and some free time to tear into it.

    Secrets of the Masters

Another easy way to remove grips is run a pointed wooded skewer down under the grip and slidt the skinny tube from the WD-40 can (if you have't lost it in your shop somewhere) along the side of the skewer and give it short blast. It will twist right off.

    Vintage Worksman Industrial Trike

The seat position is too upright and I'll probably do the same thing once I start going through it. Right now, just collecting parts to get it done. I won that 50's JC Higgins cooler on eBay, so that will make a cool rear box. I'm using that H-D trike as inspiration so 3 cream 26x2.125 Duros...

    Vintage Worksman Industrial Trike

You pretty much hit it on the head Bicycle808. Heard back from Worksman and they said they started putting in the down tube brace in 1972 amd mine is missing that. He said the chain guard looks older than the 70's but that's all he could say.

Great job!! I'm working on a Worksman trike build myself. I'm sure your sister will love this!!

    Vintage Worksman Industrial Trike

RRB member SSG sent me this picture of what my trike probably looked like originally. I LOVE that original patina and pinstriped fenders as well as cool period HD wooden box. Looks like this was displayed at a a major Harley event. If mine was this pristine, a careful cleaning and overhauling...
