I cant believe it but UPS backed down and said they would refund the extra money they took!

UUGGGG!!!! One more thing.... take pictures of things prior to shipping them... This bike and its brother both got shipped to the same location.. both in bike boxes.... UPS is now trying to back bill me for an additional $150 ( original shipping cost $52) because they say the boxes where...

Yep... you can tell a lot about how your weld is going by how it sounds, its often the first indicator of something being wrong.. the stand off (how far the tip is away from your work) is very important... Id say under most circumstances .125 is too close. One thing to keep in mind is...

Just a note.... That speed the wire thing up only works on a pretty small welder.. If you have a big industrial megga amp welder then speeding the wire up actually increases the temp of the weld, the reason it works with a smaller welder is by stuffing more wire into the same puddle it cools...

The XS is going to be for sale here as soon as it gets buttoned up... gonna be cheap for for the amount of time invested... maybe $5800? I dont think you'll find a cooler bike for that kind of scratch.. Runs killer too...

Well here is your saving grace then... The fork is off a 68 HD Ironhead sporstster.. I originaly had the springer that is now on the sporty above on this XS, then put a cut down girder on it... Now this... way back Here it was with the girder and some horrible bars
