Yeah I think Phil either sold it or decided to keep it... I ask him about it a while back and what ever it was it wasn't for sale any more.... But as far as value his $350 unit needed some pretty major work. It was mostly there but needed major restoration to be functional... a ride-able one...

Yes they are snake grips... and no they are not the originals... As stated in a previous post I have the correct and original grips they are just not on the bike

Well it looks like a great start.... Im diggin the shape of the frame and how it flows.... You should do a single sided swing arm and cowl the opposite side so the swingarm will move inside the skin... Are you a salt racer? Ive been to speed week once time about 12 years ago...

Yeah I dont buy the home made bit just because I saw dozens of them and they all looked Identical. I visited a couple of bike shops down there and didnt see a new Schwinn but did see a new Mercurio in one. It could be that its been some time since Schwinn produced them.... And I agree...

Well they had those there too... But I just was there for 10 days and I tell ya there where bunches of schwinn's as well. They used the late model heavy duty with an extended fork tube

I dont know that they are common here but they are all over Mexico... People use them to haul grocery's, sell junk out of and all kinds of stuff... I saw hundreds of them on my trip

Re: Dyno - Rama !! Yeah Jon.. I have the right grips and the headlight... The only thing not correct is the seat. The story is the seat was torn at the bikeshop so they replaced it with this "off the shelf" dyno seat... So if anyone out there has a correct Tiki seat let me know... Id...
