I made a few changes. I changed the fork to an mtb suspension fork to ease up the bumps and added a rack and some saddle bags I got from etsy and use on all my bikes. I've heard nightmares about these kits but so far it's been great (knock wood)

The S-A hub makes it a better bike than most amfs form that era. I thought most of them had the Shimano 333 hub. I prefer an upright 3 speed than a roads bike for city riding. and if it's flat, they are fine for touring too.

On closer inspection it had a western flyer branded tire and the rear rim said M.O. Manufacturing -the rim is made by Murray. I wonder if murray made AMF's rims and it was branded western flyer. Or its just a frankenbike

I'm not 100% on the Taiwan. It could be from Japan. It was originally silver with totally tubular pink decals. It was the 80's after all
