Well once again I HAD spark. Today..... bubkis.

I installed the electronic ignition module today and I officially have honest to goodness spark as of 8:50pm central time. Still won't turn over so my next step is to clean the carb. I'll do that tomorrow

I usually ride a brooks on my road bikes and they have never given me an ounce of discomfort. The down side is they are expensive thief bait that will be destroyed if you happen to leave it outside when it rains. I have yet to find a saddle as comfortable as a brooks. Is there such an animal? I...

Someday I'll find a velosolex that runs for a decent price. Until then this will have to do Update....I sealed up the tank and it seems that it's holding. Still no spark so it's not turning over. The guy sells an electronic ignition kit for $35 that replaced the points and condenser. I wonder...

I've got it all put together but I've discovered a pin hole in the gas tank. I'll try to seal it up. Also now I don't seem to have spark. Oh well, if it ran the first time I wouldn't learn anything.

Is there a brush on cammo paint in a small can? If I decide to put my bike bug engine on it I want it to match and I don't want to disassemble it to rattle can it.

Thanks for the help. I tested it and it works. I rolled the odometer back to 300.00 I can take it from there with minimum math

I just got a schwinn approved (made in France) speedo from the co-op today. I have no idea how to install it or how to reset the odometer. Any google search leads me to bike computers not these old spedometers. I'll post a picture in a bit. Thanks
