I know this is more of a road bike question but those guys give me the creeps and I know I can trust you folks. Try the proofide first, you may be suprised on how well it works. Even if it's a wall hanger it will be prettier.

Does anyone know of a rattlecan paint that is close to schwinn's coppertone color? Some look too yellow, some look too copper. I want to get away from my usual green. It doesn't have to be exact, just close enough to look nice.

You can keep the logo if you change the color scheme. Black and green or something like that

I offered her 20. We'll see what she says. If I read right it's a lugged 4130 frame. I know it's lighter than my continental. Then again a Sherman tank is lighter than my conti. The worst she can say is no.

I don't mind the color, it's the totally tubular 80's decals that gag me with a spoon. So how heavy was the bike?
