    48 DX. It's a work in progress looks rough works good . This is what it looks like after the acid bath. I'm only using stuff I have kicking around . Original fork is toast and hard to find in the great white north .

    Two different looks on this one 1962 Elswick Hopper Tour Anglaise Prima frame Sturmey Archer 2 speed . Sheldon Brown said his Elswick TAP was his first good bike that he owned .

    Sold this Humphry to the niece of the guy who owned Humphry bicycles can't remember exact year but was in the 1950s . And yes the little tab on your handle bars is for a lamp probably a 2 D cell one that looks like a miners lantern . M could stand for Miller Headlights This one had Chrome...

    Reminds me of something I have think I know where they got the idea for this frame now . Twin top tube Van Dessel WTF Also there's a French bike builder called Achielle that makes a coaster brake bike called an Omar that uses this style frame . Your Bike is cool would like to find one like it...

    Second pic is my Hiawatha in original paint I believe it is a 47. Also. has a little blue pin striping around the white darts .

    I'm likin your before and after shot idea but might be easier to put a link to the build thread under the final shot . That way if someone hasn't been following the build off but is tuning in on the final shots and wants to know what went into a bike they like they can just go right to it ...

    This is why I'm not on Facebook and Twitter and any of those other sites . chill brothers it's just supposed to be a friendly little build off and the other beauty part is when someone tells you something on line that they might not say to your face You can ignore them

    I cast a lot of votes this year as there were some stellar bikes in the contest . I look at would I ride it how much work went into it physical and creative then you need to come up with a balance between those things somehow . Some of the bikes I liked the best were simple clean builds but...

    This bike is awesome all my regular riders are 28 inch bikes I would love to take a cruise on this thing . Think you really nailed the scale as well even the saddle looks right .
