    100" of scrap metal-Lots new

Re: 20" of scrap metal The blue bars on the Roadmaster are pretty cool, I'm sure you'll find a use for those... And the bell of course. :D

    Fresh ????

I'm not sure what the name of the shop is, I'm not too familiar with the area and I just spotted it while cruising up Dixie Highway. I think it was between Forest Hill and Southern, there was a chopper out front with homebrew three-spoke mags and an old Phillips. The shop is on the west side of...

    Schwinn Finds!

$75 is a fair price, but you could probably double that on craigslist (depending on your market...) Smart buyers know that the same money will only buy a disposable POS at the dep't store.

    Fresh ????

I saw one in a bike shop in West Palm Beach over the weekend, very cool. Those things are built like tanks!

AMF Road Master Junior dumpster find

That thing wouldn't be extreme if you fired it out of a cannon. But it's still cool.

AMF Road Master Junior dumpster find

Be careful with that seat, it looks like the kind of plastic that gets brittle and powdery when it's 30 years old...

    GOLD UKAI 26 x 2.125

Very cool score! On a related note, I was ogling an OM Flyer at a LBS today that had a beautiful set of anodized 26" wheels and a host of matching components. Lovely stuff.

Check out this crazy 70's bike!

Pretty cool, but $96 for shipping is robbery! And he still wants to charge $20 if you pick it up. :x

    Schwinn Voyageur 11.8

After an unsuccessful flea market run, I found an early-eighties Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 at a yard sale for $15. It's a beautiful lightweight bike with double-butted chromoly tubing, nice lugs, and fully chromed under the paint. A tad small for me, but it went to a friend who wants to build it as...

spending my tax refund (Stealth Bomber updated)

    picked up some new bikes!

I was intrigued by the Cinelli bars in the first group of photos, but the closeup shots tell the full story. It's not particularly valuable, looks like a low to midrange Japanese bike from the early 80's. Stamped droupouts, bolt-on derailleur, etc... The 600 group would probably sell on eBay if...

Nice job. I'm always amazed by how beautiful old Schwinns look after a good cleaning. @Larry: thanks for dusting off The Bishop!
