They're all over the map here, each thrift shop seems to have its own semi-random pricing method. One Salvation Army has had a battered Nishiki road bike on the rack for $250, it'll be there forever at that price. At another SA, I've seen a nice Panasonic DX-5000 and a 70's Atala for under $50...

It looks like it would be fun for downhill runs after upgrading the rear caster to a pneumatic and maybe adding fatter rubber up front. It looks surprisingly well made, but everything about the website and video looks cheezy: "The latest urban craze of the 21st Century?" Give me a break...

A local bike shop owner used to build similar bikes using ATV tires/wheels, they looked like they'd work pretty well on the beach or other loose surfaces. Unfortunately, he closed his shop several years ago.

Nice score, it's in much better shape than my battered Columbia Twosome, and my "permissive one" still said "cool!" when she saw it. If your buyer's remorse gets the better of you, let me know. :D

I finally finished flogging this beast into shape and sold it on Craigslist. It turned out to be a much better rider than I expected, and I would have hung onto it if the frame was a bit smaller. This was the end result:

Yeah, they've been shifting things around for while. I used to listen to David Johansen's show on Sirus Disorder and they suddenly moved it from thirty something up near the jazz channels. The AC/DC thing is annoying too, since the punk channel was pretty good and now they only seem to play...
