    Just read...

This is only worthy of a"fresh find" due to how it was bought (in my opinion anyway) So, a buddy of mine finds a Townie on some app he uses (I don't know which one) . Messages the guy Friday night and asks a couple questions and makes an offer. The guy says "sure". Anyway, my buddy didn't have...

Back in the game with a load of bikes.

Nice haul! You gonna come back to Chattanooga and ride with us again once things settle back down for you? Dave is talking about coming up to try the riverwalk out... eventually:bigsmile:

    Wheelman

That's in Texas isn't it? I have a buddy from the Nashville area that flew out there for that show. Nice truck you've got man! My bike collecting was started by a desire to have a lowrider bike to go with my lowrider truck.

    Wheelman hub service???

So...I brought in a wheelman last night. The front tire was flat, so obviously the wheel had to come off. Worked that out and then decided that now was the time to service the hub... Since the wheel was off. Anyway, removed the cottered cranks... And now I'm stuck. Any ideas where to go from here?

    Wheelman

I was at the Get-a-grip show in Cleveland TN a couple years ago and rode one of these... I'm not sure if it had a 26" front tire or a 36" (don't remember). It had a set of apes that came up to about my shoulders... It was awkward...I rode it a few feet and returned it to it's owner:bigsmile:

    Wheelman

I went by the scrapyard this morning... They had a kids bike with 12.5 tires (there were several other kids bikes, but they all had 12" tires that were dry rotted). I asked him to sell me the front tire/wheel and he wouldn't since it was a complete bike...I had to buy the entire bike. Ended up...

I need a front tire...I think I'm going by the scrapyard this morning and see what they have... Finding a rear tire might be a booger though

    Saddle suggestion?

I think the springs on the one I have are actually the issue... They don't have any "give" to them. I do have some Electra saddles that are very comfortable... But I don't think they are the xl

    Saddle suggestion?

Not sure I'm following you. I think the undercarriage is actually the issue with this saddle... It doesn't have any"give" to it at all. The shape of the pan isn't really where my comfort issue lies

    Saddle suggestion?

Those are some great looking saddles

    Saddle suggestion?

I've got this same style of seat on a few of my bikes... And they look great... But they ride horrible!!! Any suggestions for something more comfortable that will still work with "the look" of the bike? Thanks!

    Wheelman

Picked this up a few minutes ago. The headbadge reads "wheelman Chattanooga Tennessee". The front wheel is 26"... Didn't even check to see what the rear was... Anyway...I have no idea where to start with this one:bigsmile:
