*bump!* :lol: :mrgreen: Just updated my two BMX last weekend with new parts and some TLC. :wink: The white one is a 2001 Schwinn; the chrome one is a 1998 Huffy and belongs to my g/f now. I'm still looking for some red mag wheels for the Huffy.

Thanks a lot. Nice ride Baron - already seen it over at Tretharley. :) I just ordered the same stem in a shorter 120cm version (now has 135mm). Guess that helps improving "ridability". I'm still looking for a chrome motocross handlebar.

well News here: finally I got some nice chrome three piece cranks.

Thanks! That's the look I was trying to achive. Dunno yet but maybe I change the rims for some blue anodized rims .... still undecided.

next step is done. Laced the stainless rims to some brand new drum brake hubs with blue nipples. Since the sprocket I ordered from PorkChop doesnt match the blue of the other parts, I switched back to the OPC and its old sprocket. At least the PorkChop seatpost has a very nice matching turquoise...

you're right :lol: changed the bars for better (more comfortable) riding position, changed the cranks for some Shimano-Octalink and blue anodized XLC pedals. Probably gonna change the Cranks again because that fat Octalink stuff doesnt look good on there. Now I need a blue anodized 110mm or...

what's the definition of a "Klunker"? *dunno* .... I guess this one will be like a Cruiser made for offroad cycling with a bit of oldschool BMX style in it. ... Anyway - that bike is what I was trying to build for years. Still need the chrome rims but I'm getting there.

first package just arrived: the black parts of the brake levers will be polished.

Black layback seatpost was the next thing I'd suggest. ;-) ... plus: try to move the rear wheel further to the front a few inches plus the layback may do the trick and you're ready to do some wheelies.
