Now that's what you call squeezing a quart into a pint pot! Kudos! Having installed one of these TRM tanks onto one of my projects, I appreciate how confined the tank's internal space is. From shifter's concept to finished product, you just pulled off a minor engineering marvel Jim. The hardest...

Great work Jim. Quoise's shifter looks like a very well thought through arrangement. Looking forward to the 'money' shot....

    Show us them cars!

My Aero Cycle Car's stowage compartment decals (custom-produced by a great gal in CA) always raised a smile...

    Show us them cars!

Finished my most recent full car build, this Moto Guzzi powered Aero Cycle Car replica Morgan 3 wheeler, in 2015 and sold it after enjoying it for a couple of months then deciding to realize a dream by importing a '41 Buick Special Sedanette into the UK from Canada. Re-did the Buick's...

Such a cool inspiration for a Build Off project. Hope you pull it off. I'll follow along with interest. As a dyed-in-the-wool 'Guzzista', my last 'Guzzi was a LeMans 1000cc which ended up donating it's V-twin motor and rear wheel/suspension to a replica Morgan 3 Wheeler I built. Now I'm pining...

That life size printout? Pretty sure I recognize what it is. You building a replica of a Moto Guzzi Motolegerra? Love those dinky little 65cc 'Guzzi's. Been trying to track one down for years. Got a lead on one in Spain (many were Spanish built under license) that I'll follow up when we move...

    Glider

From roughed-out frame sketch to reality in no time. Oh yeah - this build means business. Carry on.... I'm hooked.

Came late to this thread. Now I've read it and I'm up to speed, I'm stoked to see how how the latest TRM build progresses. I can see you put a lot of thought into those dropouts Jim. Ain't it grand when a pro welder like your cuz Charlie brings an idea to life?!

No. 3 build ready to kick off...

ALTERNATIVE EXHAUSTS.... Been playing around with how to cobble-up Build No. 3's exhaust. Pics show a couple of alternatives. Need to indulge in a session or two of 'creative staring' before I settle on a favourite. Actually, I could even make the tailpipes interchangeable to suit my mood...

    My Ruff E-Cruiser build

Killer stance. E-bikes just don't normally float my boat - but I'll happily make an exception with this beauty.

    Dr. T’s ‘Lab Rats’

Great share DT. Consistently cool builds going on here. Your Toadmaster and BareFlyte builds do it for me!

'GNOME RHONE' Tank decal applied.... Tank decals and brass faux oil filler cap finish off this build's tank nicely.

    1940-41 Gamble's Badged Curve-Bar - She's Done

So jealous... This is a fantastic project - but please get that ugly, bad weld redone properly by a certified TIG'er.

    RRBBO13 The Skylark

Ah-ha! Can't beat a nice bit of CAD .... (Cardboard Aided Design). Man after my own heart... I'm on board with this build.

Thanks Jason. Rear suspension triangle does look great painted black. Now I'm thinking the headstock area of the frame - in line with the green/black separation of the tank - would look cool painted black. I have fenders and a rack for this build too. Fitting them changes the entire look...

Thanks DT. Jim, hopefully this pic shows the pair of alloy tubes welded thru the top tube to provide a solid foundation for the shifter quadrant.

How can you vinyl wrap a frame?

I don't know if it's just the photos. but that vinyl looks incredible! With the cost of exotic wood—even veneers that aren't paper thin (and if you're like me, the likely added cost of screwing up)—that's definitely something I'll need to check out. Facel Vegas used to have metal painted like...

No. 3 build ready to kick off...

Also on the subject of welding, stress etc., I was wondering if you had crush sleeves welded into the frame where the shifter bolts pass through. Am I right in thinking by 'crush tubes', these might be what I know as rivnuts? If so, I've used a rivnut to locate the fuel tap on the lower top...
