Oh yeah its fixable. I`ve just put it on the back burner for now. And with all the crazy happenings going on elsewhere ( ) it has kind of took my heart out of it for now. One day I`ll get back on it and get it straightened out.
This is a rare piece. From what I gather somewhere between 150-300 were made.

I bought mine for $49 on 1-1-08. It made it all the way through the shopping season without getting picked up. The next day it started rusting lol. I think they rust fast so they can become classics over night lol, not really. I think people just blow up prices to make them seem more collectible...
Gotta few. Some are customs, handmade.
This one my brother in law fixed for me. the tip of the blade was broke, about a half inch was missing and the handle was busted.
This is a skinner custom by my brother in law. Blade is from an old saw blade.
Another custom fillet my brother in law did...
Me, the wife - Gloria - and our son - Ethan - went for a little ride through town just before winter set in. Our town offers alot of scenery such as old homes, streets. Nothing fancy but still eye appealing some what.

I know I`m late to the party but NICE! Like `em both but the FS500 really gets my attention. Its pretty much a Team Murray X20R with Sears goodies on it. Here`s the Murray version of it:
May even be a Murray X20C because the drops are different of course that be because of year models too...
Super cool Mach 1 8) . Looks much better with the skin walls than with Kontacts. I notice you have done business with Justin too. Porkchop is the answer for old school BMX. He`s also got a 26"er 3 bar F/F thats cro-mo and sharp!!
Anyways, back to your GT lol. Do you have the matching Flick...
Redline used those style drops for years. And their frames were also built in either Taiwan or Japan by DSBM I do believe or Giant or both. Now chances are that bike is/was made by the same folk but for a different company. So that could explain alot of the similarities. And too, those forks are...
I hunt Deer, Hog, squirrel, etc
Yes, the BMX bug is addictive but I think I`m getting over it lol. I too have an old Haro, an `89 Invert. A couple GT frames and forks, early 90`s stuff there.
Roll with it. I actually stole that idea from a Walmart bike lol. Only thing, they used only one so I decided to go with 2 lol. But yeah, go on ahead, I haven`t applied for a patent yet lol
Picked up this Ocean Dr. cruiser by PHAT Cycles at a thrift store for $50 and thought I could have some fun with it. So far here`s the jest:
I added bottle openers for a nice touch. I`d like to do a 3 speed set-up on it and put the shifter on the right seat stay for that "old school" look...
