I set the rear fender on the bike and now I can see I need to fill near the back opening on both sides for a nicer look where the tire shows through. I painted it gray to show the defects I need to fix, after that Ineed to start work on the front fender not to mention my class one warbonnett build.

I know what you are going through, I need to redo some work on my elginator, keep at it.

build off 14 first try, calling it warbonnett

Thank you, I will have to get back working on this build, I have been working on fenders for my class 1 build recently, making them swoopy.

I got the front fender out of the mold, I will have to swoop the back end of it just like the rear fender.

You could make a mold off of the wing tip before you start over to save some of your work, that might also save some time.

Thank you, the front fender will get a little bit of a swoop, as much as I can without it hitting the frame.

I added those parts to the back of the elginator fender for a more swoopy look so now the front fender will also need some swooping, so I am making a mold off of the front fender so I will have a glass front fender to work with, swooping to come later, still working on the back fender. See the...

I have been doing some work on the elginator rear fender, cut the slots out and made some end pieces from the my class 2 fender mold to add onto the end.

build off 14 first try, calling it warbonnett

I filled in the front area of the rear fender with fiberglass, this area will be behind the tool box when I get it built.

Oh No !!!, I have been mixing polyester, surely that is ok???

Yes, but the high cost of a lacquer license keeps the number of stores low, now they are talking about legalizing urethane!, what is next?, epoxy???!!!

It all depends on your taste, do you prefer enamel or lacquer flavor?

It works good and the straws are reusable.

Yes, I could paint the plastic parts also, thanks!.

Darn brain gas!, yes painting the fender to match the saddle and pedals is probably the way to go, paint probably wouldn`t last on the saddle and pedals if I chose to go another color on them.

I put the new parts from the huffy bike on the elgin frame and tried it out, it rides like a new bike, I don`t like the white I painted the front fender, I will have to come up with something else. Hmmm, I`m thinking but nothing happens!

That is going to be nice, do you make the skylark headlight?

I`ve got one of the two new huffy bike wheels painted, I used straws on the spokes to keep the paint off them.
