    Your ugliest bikes.

Dang punks, that bike was just stolen. See the shed in the background, someone took it out of the shed. Chain saw, propane tanks and other crap. I can't stand liers and thefts. Seems it is getting worse the last few years, my house was broken on to on Thanksgiving a few years ago so now the...

    Schwinn Straight Bar Question?

I briefly looked in to this at one time and still have no idea. I believe it is like Wildcat said the economy bikes would have bolt on kickstands. What years did and didn't I have no idea, I know my double straight bars from the 60's still had bolt on kickstands. It was the lower end bikes as...

    Your ugliest bikes.

My ugliest bike some would say. I say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I'm beholding. 1941 Schwinn DX, with locking fork and key. The guy wanted $40, I gave him $50. He had it for sale for months, started at $350 and kept dropping the price, and finally just wanted it gone.

    No Serial Number

I bought a prewar Schwinn Model C frame on line, I love those frames. High bottom bracket, layed back steer tube, straight down tube, they are just beautiful. Well, looks like the serial number was removed, dang it. It really bothered me, my friends thought it was funny and that I was overly...

Front wheel drive Electric hub...any help I can get appreciated!

Mac has some geared hub motors in several different configurations. A T10 Mac seems to be popular for people who want more torque then speed. Hills are the weakness for hub motors, you could possibly roast a hub motor going constantly up steep hills. If your going up a steep hill for 5 miles...
